Join us for spreading kindness as a local charity for Panay Island and changing the world.
At The Beneficent Hands, we believe in spreading kindness, love, and compassion to all. We seek to uplift those who feel forgotten and help communities flourish, while honoring the beauty of life. Be part of our mission to create lasting change and brighter futures.
We’re excited to announce our upcoming Brigada Eskwela on June 13 at our adopted school, Casalsagan Elementary School in Pototan, Iloilo!
Although it’s not yet the official start of the school year, we’ll be giving school supplies to the parents (mothers and fathers) of the students to help them prepare in advance.
This outreach is made possible through the generosity and support of our partners: Iloilo Butlak Lions Club and Soap Cycling Philippines.
We’re still welcoming additional partners who would like to join us in this meaningful cause. Let’s work together to make a difference in the lives of these young learners and their families.
Yesterday, I had the honor of attending one of our partner organizations' recognition events — the CCT Fiesta.
CCT has been faithfully serving for 30 years in the field of charitable work and community development. Just like us, they carry the mission of “Touching Hearts. Changing Lives,” especially among indigenous communities and the poorest of the poor.
Our partnership with CCT Panay began last year, and we are hopeful that it will continue to grow. Together, we aim to bring hope and simple joys to those who truly deserve it.
We will never stop being generous, because through generosity, we not only extend our hands — we expand our hearts. And through our service, may others come to see the love of our Beloved Creator.
Thank you, CCT Panay, for this recognition.
God bless you all — and to God be the Glory!
In this photo, I’m with the acting Chieftain and IPMR of Dumarao, Sir Pablito Escona. He is currently overseeing the Aeta-Tag-ao community in Dumarao, Capiz.
The Beneficent Hands has chosen this community as a beneficiary because they truly deserve it — and for them, this upcoming outreach is an answered prayer. On July 19, as part of our 6th Year (Iron) Anniversary, we’ll be holding a medical mission and grocery distribution for the group.
As the founder, I’m deeply grateful and excited to continue living out our mission and vision:
“Touching Hearts. Changing Lives.”
We serve as a silver lining for those who have lost hope. As a local charity, we provide groceries and hygiene kits to those in need, promote health awareness through medical and dental missions, and offer faith and moral recovery by sharing the gospel. We believe that by being The Beneficent Hands, we can create a brighter future.

Established on July 6, 2019, in Guimaras by founder Mark Priagula Dolorosa and his Bible study group, we have reached nearly 15 barangays across Panay Island and beyond, sharing hope, kindness, and joy. Our tagline, 'Touching Hearts. Changing Lives,' is evident in every outreach effort as a local charity. After more than five years of being The Beneficent Hands, we are excited to continue expanding our reach, driven by our mission to be a beacon of hope as charity for Panay Island.
We are a team of dedicated individuals, committed to making a meaningful impact as a local charity here in Iloilo, Philippines. Our world is one of care and love, and we strive to reflect that in everything we do, ensuring our tagline is evident not only in our hearts but also in our deeds.
Mark Priagula Dolorosa, the second child in his family, has always demonstrated resilience and a heart for service despite life’s challenges. His educational journey began at Don Bosco Technical Institute in Victorias City, an all-boys school where he completed his primary education. He then attended Trinity Christian School, a Chinese institution in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, for his high school years.
Mark initially pursued a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts, majoring in Interior Design, at La Consolacion College in Bacolod. However, financial constraints interrupted his studies. Determined to succeed, Mark’s brother encouraged him to continue his education, leading him to enroll at the Philippine Christian University in Manila, where he earned an associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM).
After graduating, Mark worked as a food counter attendant at the Post Hotel and Spa in Lake Louise, Canada, for four years. While the experience allowed him to grow professionally, he faced personal struggles with depression, which eventually brought him back home. These challenges became pivotal moments in Mark’s journey, shaping his purpose and strengthening his resolve to make a difference.
In 2019, Mark turned his challenges into a mission by founding his local charity with the heartfelt vision: "Touching Hearts, Changing Lives." What began as a humble effort to uplift others has grown into a meaningful initiative that continues to inspire and empower individuals in his community.
As a proud member of the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) community, Mark’s journey has been a beacon of hope for others. In recognition of his dedication and leadership, he was recently elected as the President of the Association of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) of Balabag, Pavia. This new role allows him to further advocate for inclusivity, create opportunities, and amplify the voices of the PWD community.
Mark’s story is a testament to resilience, compassion, and the power of service. Despite personal struggles and setbacks, he has proven that adversity can be a stepping stone to greatness. Through his charity work and leadership, Mark continues to inspire those around him, embodying the spirit of his organization’s mission.
With unwavering determination and a heart full of purpose, Mark Priagula Dolorosa stands as a shining example of how one can rise above challenges to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
When Mark founded this local charity, the vision was to create a group of individuals who serve others with genuine joy. Over the past five years, that vision has been successfully realized. However, Mark's aspirations for the charity continue to grow. In the coming years, the charity plans to adopt schools, support Aeta and barangay communities, and build a semi-private mental health center. This center will focus on helping Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) suffering from psychosis and similar mental health issues in rural areas, providing free or affordable professional care to those in need.
